What class should I take?

Our teachers are trained to meet the needs of whoever shows up that day. They offer modifications and options to accommodate different levels and body types in every class.
That said you are the best guide for your own practice. You have full autonomy to choose the difficulty level that feels right for you. Feel free to rest in Child’s Pose, lie down on your mat, or modify poses in any way that serves your body. Just because a modification isn’t specifically cued by the teacher doesn’t mean you’re not “allowed” to do it.

What should I wear and bring to class?

Wear comfortable clothes that you can stretch and move easily in—think workout or lounge wear. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. If you have your own yoga mat, feel free to bring it. If not, no worries! We have plenty of mats available for you to use at no charge, along with props like blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps to support your practice.

How do I register for classes?

What are your cancellation policies?

Accepted Answer

If you can’t make it to class, no worries! You’re welcome to reschedule for another day, as long as you do so 60 minutes prior to class time. Missed classes without notice will not be eligible for rescheduling.

We do not offer refunds for any purchases, including drop-ins, class passes or special events.
We understand that life happens, so if you’re unable to attend your scheduled class or session, you’re always welcome to reschedule for another day that works for you.

If you have used a class pass to book your class and need to cancel, that class will go back on your pass. You must cancel 60 minutes prior to class time.

How do I cancel or reschedule a class?

You will need to log in to your account on our website. Once you are signed in, click on your profile dropdown menu in the upper right corner. Navigate to "My Bookings" which will bring up all of your upcoming bookings, where you can cancel or reschedule.

What to expect if a class is ever cancelled

At Ebb & Flow, we take pride in reliability and consistency. Our teachers work hard to be there when they say they will, and we make every effort to avoid cancelling classes.

When We Might Cancel
If a teacher faces a sudden personal emergency or there are unsafe weather conditions, we may need to cancel a class. Whenever possible, we will first attempt to find a qualified substitute. If we cannot, we will cancel the class.

How You Will Be Notified
If you are signed up for a class that must be cancelled, we will email or call you directly.
You will receive a class pass credit that can be used for any future class.
For drop-in visitors: the cancelled class will be removed from the online schedule. If you want to double-check before walking in, simply glance at the schedule—if the class is missing or unavailable to book, it is likely cancelled.

Our Commitment Cancellations are very rare, and we strive to keep them that way. We know that getting to class is often the hardest part, and that yoga is an essential form of both mental and physical self-care. Our goal is for you to feel confident that we will be here for you—with consistency, community, and support.

We encourage you to sign up for class in advance as they can fill up quickly, but generally most of our classes still have available space for walk-ins. Can I share my class pass?

Class passes are non-transferable - each student must have their own individual class pass and completed waiver to attend. If someone would like to join you for class, we encourage them to purchase their own class pass or pay the standard drop-in rate of $15.00. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Does my class pass expire?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all class passes have a clearly marked expiration date. Please be sure to check the expiration before purchasing. Passes are offered at a discounted rate with the understanding that they’ll be used within a specific time frame. We’re not able to extend expired passes, so we recommend choosing the option that best fits your schedule.

Does my class pass cover special events or workshops?

No, class passes are only valid for our regular weekly classes and do not apply to special events or workshops. These offerings often include additional time, special materials, and extra staff support, which is why they’re priced separately. We always aim to keep these events affordable and reflective of the value they provide.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For the safety of all students and teachers, we ask that every participant complete a liability waiver before attending class. The waiver acknowledges that yoga and movement classes involve physical activity, and that you are practicing at your own pace and within your own limits. By signing, you agree to release the studio and instructors from liability for injuries that may occur.

How do I redeem an Ebb & Flow gift card?

1. Go to the class schedule: https://www.ebbflow.yoga/book-online (https://www.ebbflow.yoga/book-online)
2. Click on "Book" on the desired class
3. If you have an account, click "Log in"
4. If you do not have an account yet, fill in Name and Email (and Phone if you wish)
5. Then, under "Payment for Class Name", select "Pay Now" from the drop down list
6. Click "Book Now"
7. Leave payment options blank (no credit card or expiration, etc. needed)
8. Instead, look near the Subtotal for a "Redeem a Gift Card" and click it
9. Enter your code from the gift card and click "Apply"
10. Click "Place Order & Pay" and it should deduct the total from your gift card balance
